Job summary

EGI RESOURCES seeks a General Manager for hotel operations in Jakarta. The role oversees daily activities across all departments, driving guest satisfaction, revenue, occupancy, and profitability while ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

You will lead and coach department managers, monitor budgets, and build strong relationships with guests and partners in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in hospitality industry / General Manager hotel.
• Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
• Familiar with hotel systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily hotel operations across all departments.
• Ensure excellent guest service and resolve major guest issues.
• Achieve revenue, occupancy, and profitability targets.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and financial performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop department managers and staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and legal requirements.
• Develop business strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
• Maintain quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Build strong relationships with guests, partners, and stakeholders.
• Report operational and financial performance to ownership or corporate management.
