Job summary

JW Marriott Hotel Surabaya seeks a dynamic General Manager to lead hotel operations in Indonesia, overseeing guest satisfaction, staff development, financial performance and brand execution across all departments.

The ideal candidate has strong sales and marketing leadership, F&B oversight, and a proven ability to build critical relationships with owners, local officials, and the community. This is a full-time property leadership role based in Surabaya.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related field with 6–8 years' experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting
• Or 2-year degree with 8 years' experience in the same areas

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to maximize guest satisfaction, profitability and market share.
• Lead and coach the property leadership team to achieve brand standards and financial targets.
• Work with Sales and Marketing to drive revenue and align with Marriott demand engines.
• Oversee talent management, development plans and succession planning for the property.
• Analyze business information and adjust plans to meet budget and profit goals.
• Ensure compliant and effective employee relations and operational excellence.
