Job summary

JW Marriott Semarang seeks a General Manager to lead all hotel operations, guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate has prior Indonesia-based GM experience, preferably with pre-opening or conversion projects, and is proficient in Bahasa Indonesia.

The role requires aligning property plans with Marriott brand strategy and delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving profitability.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree plus 8 years' management experience in operations, sales, finance, or related professional area.
• 4-year degree plus 6 years' management experience in operations, sales, finance, or related professional area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute property business plans aligned with Marriott brand strategies.
• Lead revenue management and sales strategies to maximize occupancy and market share.
• Coach and develop the property leadership team and ensure brand standards.
• Foster owner relations and community engagement to enhance brand reputation.

Education

2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major

4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
