Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a proactive Sales Engineer to drive growth in Indonesia's power equipment market. You will identify project opportunities, present technical solutions, and negotiate contracts, working closely with engineering, project, and production teams to win large-scale orders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or business, 3–5 years B2B sales experience, and fluent English. You will train in Cikarang before relocating full-time to Jakarta, and travel to client sites as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering or business-related field.
• 3–5 years of B2B sales or sales engineering experience in electrical equipment manufacturing or related industries.
• Fluent English and strong communication/negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and expand sales within power, utilities, EPC, industrial, mining, and oil & gas sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Deliver technical presentations, prepare commercial proposals, and recommend suitable electrical equipment solutions based on customer requirements.
• Monitor project pipelines, tender opportunities, and procurement activities related to power transmission and electrical infrastructure.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and project management teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Support tender submissions, contract negotiations, and project documentation while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Conduct regular customer visits, site meetings, and industry networking to strengthen market presence and opportunities.
