Job summary

Saint-Gobain Abrasives Diamas in Bekasi, Indonesia, seeks a maintenance professional to sustain and enhance the performance of machinery and infrastructure. You will manage preventive and autonomous maintenance programs, optimize spare parts, and lead TPM efforts in a multinational setting.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize Mobility Work CMMS, and contribute to energy efficiency and safety initiatives while planning and controlling maintenance budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
• 3+ years experience in a manufacturing multinational company in the same position.
• Excellent knowledge and practice of AM, PM, and basic TPM.
• Excellent knowledge in Energy Management Systems, CO2 footprint reduction, and energy efficiency actions.
• Familiarity with CMMS tools (Mobility Work or similar).
• Trained or certified in Machinery Safety (K3 Listrik) is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with fluent English communication in a multinational environment.
• Ability to work in large, decentralized inter-functional teams with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve high-level performance of machinery and equipment.
• Ensure sustainability in maintenance using updated methodologies and new technology.
• Maintain and improve spare part availability with minimal inventory levels.
• Plan, organize, control, and implement maintenance schedules (yearly, monthly, preventive).
• Assess critical machinery and root causes to determine actions.
• Use Mobility Work for maintenance administration and reporting.
• Manage maintenance costs and annual CAPEX budgets.
• Execute installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and modifications.
• Monitor equipment performance via OEE metrics.
• Evaluate plant utilities usage (power, N2, compressed air, water).
• Coordinate Health & Safety Systems with EHS team and ensure compliance.

The position is for our company Saint-Gobain Abrasives Diamas, located in Bekasi.

QUALIFICATION

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing multinational company in the same position.
• Excellent knowledge and practice of Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Preventive Maintenance (PM), and basic knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
• Excellent knowledge in Energy Management Systems, CO2 footprint reduction, and energy efficiency actions.
• Familiarity with CMMS tools (specifically Mobility Work or similar Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Trained or certified in Machinery Safety or K3 Listrik will be an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with fluent written and verbal English communication in a multinational and multicultural environment.
• Ability to work in large, decentralized inter-functional teams with minimal supervision, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and improve high-level performance of machinery, equipment, strategic assets, building infrastructure, and facilities (tracked via Maintenance KPI Reporting).
• Ensure sustainability in all maintenance aspects using updated methodologies and keep up with latest abrasive wheel manufacturing technology (People Development, Parts, Tools, and System).
• Maintain and improve spare part availability with minimum inventory levels.
• Plan, organize, control, and implement maintenance schedules and activities (yearly, monthly, corrective, autonomous, and preventive maintenance tracking MTTR & MTBF).
• Regularly assess and evaluate critical machinery, building utilities, spare part usage, and root causes of machine damage to determine corrective actions.
• Utilize CMMS tools (Mobility Work) for maintenance administration, tracking, job record filing, scheduling, repair prioritization, and monthly database reporting.
• Manage operational maintenance costs and annual CAPEX budgets efficiently and effectively.
• Execute installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery/equipment, as well as modifications for production machine improvements.
• Monitor equipment performance based on Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
• Evaluate and monitor plant utility usage (electrical power supply, N2, compressed air, and water).
• Collaborate with the EHS Team to coordinate Health & Safety Systems, prevent occupational health/working accidents, and ensure strict compliance with EHS regulations (LOTO, placards, work permits, PPE, etc.).
• Train and develop the technical skills and competencies of subordinates.
