Indesso Group in Indonesia seeks a Regulatory & Compliance Manager to ensure licensing and regulatory requirements are met across its manufacturing operations.

The role focuses on maintaining permits, providing practical guidance to operations and commercial teams, identifying risks, and building strong relationships with government authorities to align regulatory obligations with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law is required.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian licensing and regulatory requirements (import, environment, employment, LKPM, SIINAS, TKDN).
• In-depth knowledge of site plans, PBG, SLF, and UU PT compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with authorities and internal teams.

Ensure the Company complies with all applicable licensing and regulatory requirements.

Monitor compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and government requirements.

Maintain and oversee the Company’s required permits and licenses.

Provide clear and practical regulatory guidance to operational, commercial, and other internal stakeholders.

Identify potential legal and regulatory risks and recommend appropriate protective measures.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with government institutions, regulatory bodies, and relevant authorities.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree major in Law

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial level within a manufacturing company.

Strong understanding of Indonesian regulations and licensing requirements, including import, environmental, employment, LKPM, SIINAS, and TKDN regulations.

In-depth knowledge of Indonesian licensing requirements, including site plans, PBG, and SLF.

Established relationships with Indonesian authorities, regulatory bodies, and government institutions.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal management, external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and government institutions.

Proficiency in regulatory compliance related to the Indonesian Company Law (Undang-Undang Perseroan Terbatas or UU PT) and business licensing, particularly through the OSS system.

Ability to balance regulatory compliance requirements with operational and business objectives.

Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, practical recommendations for operational teams, commercial teams, and other stakeholders.

Ability to identify legal and regulatory risks and recommend practical mitigation measures related to the Company’s licensing and compliance obligations.
