HEAD OF CORPORATE LEARNING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute a structured, scalable strategy and roadmap for the commercial learning and development unit, aligning with the group’s overarching enterprise goals.
Define strategic priorities, commercial targets, and KPIs to drive long-term unit profitability and market expansion.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, strategic B2B/B2G partnerships, and alternate revenue streams across corporate learning, advisory, and skill verification sectors.
Lead funding optimization initiatives, strategic alliances, and commercial collaborations to enhance unit self-sustainability and business impact.
Oversee the end-to-end execution of professional education, capability-building, and competency assessment programs to achieve target client acquisition and commercial objectives.
Ensure all training and development initiatives are delivered on schedule, targeted at high-value market segments, and aligned with market demands.
Maintain rigorous standards for program quality, curriculum relevance, and continuous operational improvement.
Guarantee regulatory compliance, proactive risk management, and governance standards across all unit operations.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Business Administration, Management, Education, or a related field; Master’s/MBA is a plus.
Minimum 10 years of total professional experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
Proven track record in business development, commercial growth, B2B sales, or strategic partnerships—preferably within corporate learning, professional certification, higher education, or consulting services.
Strong leadership in managing P&L, driving revenue-generating programs, and scaling enterprise business units.
Solid experience in managing end-to-end training, certification, or professional development programs with measurable commercial targets.
Exceptional strategic thinking, stakeholder management, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills.
