Job summary

Savaya Group in Bali is seeking a hands-on Runner to support our Food and Beverage teams across venues. You will help deliver food, beverages, glassware, and service items while coordinating with servers, bartenders, kitchen teams, and venue leadership.

This casual daily worker role requires reliability, energy, and a service-focused approach to maintain high standards during busy service periods.

Responsibilities

• Supporting servers, bartenders, kitchen teams, and supervisors during service
• Collecting food and beverage orders from kitchens, bars, service stations, and designated pick-up areas
• Delivering food, beverages, tableware, glassware, condiments, and other service items to the correct tables or locations
• Checking orders for accuracy, presentation, table numbers, and special requirements before delivery
• Communicating promptly with servers and kitchen or bar teams regarding missing items, delays, changes, or guest requests
• Assisting with the set-up, operation, and breakdown of dining areas, bars, events, and functions
• Clearing used plates, glassware, cutlery, bottles, rubbish, and other items safely and efficiently
• Resetting tables and service areas with clean tableware, napkins, menus, condiments, and other required items
• Maintaining clean, organised, and well-presented dining, service, pass, and back-of-house areas
• Supporting the timely replenishment of cutlery, glassware, napkins, condiments, trays, and service supplies
• Assisting with the safe movement of trays, food, beverages, boxes, equipment, and other supplies
• Following food safety, hygiene, allergen awareness, responsible service of alcohol, and workplace safety requirements
• Using trays, trolleys, service equipment, cleaning products, and personal protective equipment correctly and responsibly
• Reporting spills, hazards, breakages, incorrect orders, equipment issues, and maintenance concerns promptly
• Helping minimise disruption to guests while maintaining efficient service-area and back-of-house operations
• Maintaining awareness of guest needs and directing questions or requests to the appropriate team member
• Working closely with servers, bartenders, chefs, kitchen porters, Housekeeping, Operations, Security, and venue leadership
• Maintaining a professional appearance, positive attitude, and clean uniform throughout the shift
• Completing other reasonable duties required to support safe and smooth venue operations
