Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage and validate large volumes of employee data and process payroll components, including taxes and benefits. You will ensure data accuracy, support system upgrades, and provide guidance to internal users on payroll functionality.

The role requires at least a bachelor's degree, 1 year HR/payroll experience, and strong Excel and English skills. You will work in a dynamic logistics environment with cross-functional teams across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field; IT or Industrial Engineering preferred.
• At least 1 year in HR, preferably payroll or compensation & benefits.
• Excellent English (written and spoken).
• Experience with payroll system development or upgrades.
• Experience handling large volumes of payroll data; knowledge of BPJS, CPF, taxation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and validate payroll data for accuracy and completeness.
• Process payroll including salary, allowances, deductions, taxes.
• Administer employee data in payroll system (hiring, promotions, etc).
• Migrate attendance data into payroll system regularly.
• Support payroll system development and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with employment and payroll regulations.
