Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a payroll professional to manage and validate employee payroll data and to execute payroll processing across salary, allowances, deductions, taxes, and related components. The role includes maintaining employee data in the payroll system, supporting system enhancements, and delivering accurate cost reports.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of HR/payroll experience, with strong English, Excel, and data management skills, and knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field, IT or Industrial Engineering preferred.
• 1 year of HR experience, preferably payroll or compensation & benefits.

Responsibilities

• Manage and validate employee payroll data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Execute payroll processing, including salary, allowances, deductions, taxes, and other payroll components.
• Manage employee data administration within the payroll system, including new hires, promotions, transfers, demotions, terminations, salary, benefits, and employee status changes.
• Perform regular migration of employee attendance data into the payroll system.
• Support payroll system development, enhancement, and upgrade initiatives.
• Prepare payroll cost, employee demographic, salary-layer, and budget-vs-actual reports.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal users regarding payroll system functionality.
• Support actuarial reporting and other payroll-related analyses as required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment and payroll regulations.
