Job summary

Samudera Indonesia seeks a proactive freight forwarding professional to drive air freight sales and develop customer relationships in Indonesia. You will coordinate space reservations, rate negotiations, and service solutions to meet client needs while aligning with market trends.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 1 year of experience or fresh graduates, and strong communication to interact with airlines, vendors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) from Air Transport, Logistics or related major.
• Fresh graduates or min. 1 year experience in freight forwarding company.
• Good understanding of export and import processes, including basic procedures for domestic and international shipments by air.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with customers, vendors, airlines, shipping lines, and internal teams.
• Understand the implementation of MK3L and QHSE aspect.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage sales activities for air freight services to achieve business targets.
• Reserving cargo space with airlines or flight agents.
• Identify potential customers, promote company services, and build strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Negotiate freight rates, contracts, and service terms with customers.
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate service solutions.
• Collect and analyze market data and trends to support sales and marketing strategies.
