Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Bekasi, Indonesia seeks a seasoned logistics professional to supervise end-to-end operations, including customs clearance and container haulage, aligning shipment plans with customer production needs.

You will coordinate with customers, brokers, and vendors, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety, compliance, and service quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
• 1-2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Mandarin proficiency preferred.
• Experience in container haulage, transportation operations, customs clearance coordination, port operations, or automotive logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including customs clearance, container haulage, and battery shuttle transportation.
• Ensure shipment planning, transportation capacity, and delivery schedules align with customer production requirements.
• Coordinate with customers, customs brokers, transport vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operational execution and resolve service disruptions.
• Monitor customs clearance processes, shipment status, container collection, factory deliveries, and transportation performance.
• Manage transport vendor performance, capacity planning, and contingency arrangements to support business continuity.
• Drive operational excellence through KPI monitoring, cost control, process improvement, and service optimization.
• Lead operational issue resolution, risk mitigation, and recovery planning to maintain supply chain continuity.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, transportation requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
• Prepare operational reports and support customer reviews, budgeting, forecasting, and business growth initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or a related field (relevant operational experience may be considered)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations
• Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred
• Experience in container haulage, transportation operations, customs clearance coordination, port operations, or automotive logistics preferred
• Strong understanding of transportation planning, dispatch management, shipping documentation, and customs clearance processes
• Experience coordinating with transport vendors, customs brokers, customers, and cross-functional operations teams
• Proficient in operational reporting tools (TMS or logistics systems is an advantage)
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment
