Job summary

Nestlé is seeking a First Line Manager for its Panjang Factory in Lampung, Indonesia. You will lead frontline manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production of Nestlé products, while optimizing line performance and developing the workforce.

Success comes from driving continuous improvement, managing resources, and collaborating with Engineering, Quality, SHE, HR, and Supply Chain to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience in FMCG or food & beverage.
• Experience leading and developing teams in a production environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with cross-functional influence.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and continuous improvement capability.
• Familiarity with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, NCE, HACCP, QMS, and KPIs is desirable.
• Good command of English (written & spoken).

Responsibilities

• Leading safety, health, environmental, and food safety compliance across production operations.
• Achieving production targets through effective planning and execution.
• Driving line efficiency, productivity improvements, and asset optimization.
• Managing workforce performance, capability building, employee engagement, and coaching.
• Supporting continuous improvement via NCE, TPM, Lean, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Collaborating with Engineering, Quality, SHE, HR, Supply Chain and other stakeholders to deliver operational excellence.
