Job summary

Nestlé is seeking a First Line Manager for the Panjang Factory in Indonesia to lead frontline production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient output. The role focuses on developing people, driving improvements, and achieving production targets through TPM, Lean, and NCE methodologies.

The ideal candidate will manage resources, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, SHE, HR, and Supply Chain to deliver operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical discipline relevant to manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years leading teams in FMCG/food production.
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence across functions.
• Experience with TPM, Lean, NCE, HACCP, and KPIs is desirable.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline manufacturing operations safely and efficiently.
• Drive line performance, production targets, and asset utilization.
• Develop people capabilities and coach team members.
• Support continuous improvement via NCE, TPM, and Lean methods.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, SHE, HR, and Supply Chain.
