Job summary

Nestlé Panjang Factory in Lampung, Indonesia seeks a First Line Manager to lead frontline manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality production of Nestlé products. You will optimize line performance, manage resources, develop people, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across functions such as Engineering, Quality, SHE, HR and Supply Chain.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or related technical discipline, at least 3 years in FMCG

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience in FMCG or food & beverage
• Experience leading and developing teams in a production environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and continuous improvement capability
• Familiarity with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, NCE, HACCP, QMS and manufacturing KPIs is desirable
• Good command of English written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Leading safety, health, environmental, and food safety compliance across production operations
• Ensuring achievement of production targets through operational planning and execution
• Driving line efficiency, productivity improvement, and asset optimization initiatives
• Managing workforce performance, capability building, employee engagement, and coaching
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives through NCE, TPM and related methodologies
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, SHE, HR, Supply Chain and other stakeholders to deliver operational excellence
