Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding and ISO tank (sea, air, overseas agent).
• Proven hunter mindset: comfortable and motivated by new business development.
• Strong selling and negotiation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• A customer-first mindset and the ability to propose the right solution.
• Good time management, able to prioritise leads and hit targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Aggressive but with strong integrity, positive, energetic and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Find new customers and visit them to build long-term relationships.
• Manage the ocean forwarding process with customers, from quotation through to shipment and delivery.
• Keep domestic and international shipping rates current and available.
• Coordinate between customers and the operations team from a sales point of view.
• Correspond with customers and overseas group counterparts.
