Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is assisting a global logistics client in seeking an Ocean Freight Sales Assistant Manager to drive business development in key trade lanes from Cibitung, Indonesia. You will identify new B2B opportunities and coordinate with internal teams to deliver value.

The role requires 3+ years in direct sales within freight forwarding, English fluency, and strong negotiation skills; candidate should be at Supervisor or Assistant Manager level, able to price, tender, and build

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Direct Sales, Business Development, or Account Management within Freight Forwarding, 3PL, or Ocean Freight industries.
• Experience selling logistics and supply chain solutions under a B2B business model.
• Professional fluency in English for business communication and negotiations.
• Currently at Supervisor or Assistant Manager level.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new B2B customers within the Ocean Freight and Logistics segment.
• Manage and expand relationships with strategic and high-volume clients.
• Conduct pricing simulations and manage tender processes.
• Develop tailored logistics and freight forwarding solutions based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate export/import shipping activities and documentation processes.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and trade requirements.
• Collaborate with internal operations and regional stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Support customer meetings, negotiations, and business presentations.
