Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim is seeking a Finishing Supervisor for a Bali-based project. The role is full-time, on-site in Uluwatu for the project duration, with responsibilities spanning supervision of interior and exterior finishing and coordination of subcontractors to meet design specs and schedules.

Candidate should have 5+ years in finishing supervision, 2+ in leadership, and strong drawing interpretation. Diploma/Bachelor in civil or architecture is preferred. Bali familiarity is a plus.

Job description

The Finishing Supervisor for Building Projects is a contract, full-time, on-site role based in Uluwatu, Bali, for the duration of the project. The Finishing Supervisor oversees all finishing works, including interior and exterior finishing, ensuring that completed work meets design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. Working closely with site engineers, architects, and project stakeholders, the Finishing Supervisor is responsible for the smooth execution and handover of finished areas, and is accountable for the quality of the final product as it is presented to the client.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise all interior and exterior finishing works from commencement through to handover.

Coordinate finishing subcontractors and site labour on a daily basis, and hold them to the agreed programme.

Monitor workmanship and material usage against approved drawings and specifications, and control wastage.

Review shop drawings prior to installation.

Inspect completed areas, maintain the defect and snagging list, and drive close-out through to sign-off.

Prepare and update finishing work schedules and report progress to project management.

Identify and resolve technical or quality issues on site, escalating matters that affect programme or cost.

Enforce site safety, housekeeping, and compliance procedures across all finishing trades.

Liaise with site engineers, architects, consultants, and client representatives to ensure a smooth handover.

Qualifications

Minimum [5] years' experience supervising finishing works on building projects, including at least [2] years in a supervisory capacity.

Strong knowledge of building finishing works, including painting, flooring, ceilings, partitions, wet areas and waterproofing, joinery, doors and windows, and other architectural finishes.

Demonstrated experience coordinating finishing subcontractors and site labour, and managing work sequencing between trades.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, technical specifications, and construction details.

Proficiency in scheduling, progress monitoring, and site reporting using common office and construction tools.

Sound understanding of construction quality standards, inspection procedures, and practical quality control methods, including defect and snagging management.

Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with project managers, consultants, and site teams.

Willing to be based on site in Uluwatu for the duration of the contract.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a Finishing Supervisor or in a similar role on [villa, boutique hotel, or high-end residential] projects.

Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.

SKK Konstruksi in a relevant architectural or building subclassification (previously SKA/SKT), or K3 Konstruksi certification.

Prior experience working in Bali, with familiarity with local subcontractors, suppliers, and material lead times.

Additional Information

Contract duration: [5 months], with the possibility of extension across future projects.

Working days and hours: Monday-Saturday, 08:00-17:30
