Job summary

Valmet seeks a service-minded Service Manager to lead the Flow Control after-sales service business in Indonesia, based in Pekanbaru. You will head service operations, mentor engineers, and work with customers to maximize value from Valmet's service portfolio.

The role emphasizes leadership, customer engagement, safety, and collaboration with sales, product lines, and partners across Indonesia to improve performance, reliability, and shutdown management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• At least 5 years' experience in flow control, including leadership.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
• Advanced English proficiency; willingness to travel; valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Indonesia Flow Control service team and optimize resources.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Line teams, and specialists to deliver service solutions.
• Build relationships with key customers through site visits and shutdown planning.
• Ensure service activities comply with safety, legal, and HSE standards at all sites.
• Work with distributors, regional experts, and sales teams to drive customer success.
