Qualifications

• 3+ years of floor management or senior service experience in a high-end hospitality setting.
• Ability to lead and develop team members and deliver consistent service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across diverse guest groups.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple priorities and shift management.
• Knowledge of restaurant management systems and reservation software.
• Fluency in English; Indonesian or Mandarin is a plus.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and calm under pressure.
• Passion for hospitality and guest experience excellence.
• Certification or equivalent experience in F&B service.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

About the role

Bali Buda is seeking an experienced Floor Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team in Bali. This is a full-time position based at our stunning beachfront venue. As Floor Manager, you will be the backbone of our front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences whilst maintaining the highest standards of service delivery. This role is pivotal to the success of our restaurant and bar operations, directly contributing to our reputation as a premium hospitality destination in Bali.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all front-of-house operations, including table management, reservation systems, and seating arrangements


• Lead and supervise the service team to ensure consistent delivery of outstanding customer service


• Train, mentor and manage floor staff, conducting regular briefings and providing ongoing feedback and development opportunities


• Monitor guest satisfaction during their visit and respond promptly to any concerns or complaints


• Manage reservations, walk-in guests and special event arrangements with professionalism and efficiency


• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards throughout service periods


• Liaise with the kitchen and bar teams to optimise service flow and guest experience


• Maintain accurate records of covers, revenue and service metrics


• Manage inventory of front-of-house supplies and equipment


• Uphold and promote the brand values and service standards of Bali Buda

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in a floor management or senior service role within a high-end hospitality establishment


• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively


• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests from diverse backgrounds


• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously


• Knowledge of restaurant management systems and reservation software


• Fluency in English; additional languages such as Indonesian or Mandarin are highly desirable


• Excellent problem-solving abilities and composure under pressure


• Passion for hospitality and genuine commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences


• Food and beverage service certification or equivalent experience


• Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
