Job summary

Maersk is seeking a First Mile Operations Specialist in Jakarta to coordinate landside transportation orders, ensure timely delivery and compliance with procedures. You will work with internal teams, transport suppliers, customers and authorities to plan, monitor and optimize shipments while maintaining safety and quality standards.

• Experience with landside transportation operations.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day landside transportation activities, including shipment planning, monitoring, reporting and operational follow-up.
• Coordinate with transport suppliers to ensure shipments are delivered successfully and within agreed service requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify the most effective and cost-efficient solutions for landside operations.
• Proactively support customers and suppliers by resolving daily operational issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate daily and weekly operational reports.
• Support the onboarding of new customers and suppliers, including introductions to relevant products, processes and systems.
• Ensure operational activities are executed in accordance with established standard operating procedures and transportation management system requirements.
