Job summary

Maersk in Jakarta seeks a Project Manager to own end-to-end project shipments, coordinating with commercial, growth enablement, QHSE and procurement. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of complex projects across multiple origins and modes.

The role requires 3–7 years’ project freight forwarding experience, strong client-facing skills and the ability to manage OOG cargo and sensitive shipments. Willingness to travel and work off-hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years’ project freight forwarding experience.
• Experience with sales support, tender management, and operations.
• Extensive executional experience across transport modes including ocean/air/truck/barge with OOG cargo.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for customers and ensure end-to-end shipment lifecycle execution.
• Collaborate with commercial, procurement, and QHSE to support strategic customer development.
• Establish and track goals, metrics, and KPIs for project success.
• Demonstrate adaptability to market fluctuations and supply chain disruptions.
• Drive data-driven relationships with clients and ensure cost-efficient solutions.
• Represent accounts during implementation and onboarding of Maersk products.
