Job summary

Nestlé Panjang Factory in Lampung, Indonesia, is seeking a First Line Manager to lead frontline manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. You will optimize line performance, develop people, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, SHE, HR, and Supply Chain to drive excellence, while mentoring teams and guiding KPI-driven initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related technical disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably FMCG or food & beverage industries.
• Experience leading and developing teams in a production environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and continuous improvement capability.
• Familiarity with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, NCE, HACCP, QMS and manufacturing KPIs is desirable.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• Lead safety, health, environmental, and food safety compliance across production operations.
• Achieve production targets through effective planning and execution.
• Drive line efficiency, productivity improvement, and asset optimization initiatives.
• Manage workforce performance, capability building, employee engagement, and coaching.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through NCE, TPM, Lean and problem-solving methodologies.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, SHE, HR, Supply Chain and other stakeholders to deliver operational excellence.
