Job summary

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in Jakarta is seeking a marketing professional to lead awareness and reputation efforts for the hotel’s restaurants in the local market. You will support F&B marketing activities, maintain promotion files, coordinate meetings, and prepare minutes, while handling sponsorships and event documentation.

The role requires a strong marketing background, English fluency, and experience in international-class hotels.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of marketing methods, promotional activities, and marketing strategies.
• Creative, open-minded, and dynamic personality.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Certificate or Diploma in Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related background.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in an international-class hotel.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a people-oriented approach.
• Demonstrates initiative and a self-driven attitude.
• Good understanding of F&B operations.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Demonstrates commitment to professional values.
• Flexible and adaptable to different working locations.
• Certificate or Diploma in Food & Beverage, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Willing to work extended hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for building awareness and enhancing the reputation and positioning of all restaurants in the local market to strengthen the overall image of the hotel and Shangri-La brand.
• Provide administrative support for F&B marketing activities, including maintaining and updating promotion files, arranging marketing meetings and preparing minutes, managing entertainment documentation, handling sponsorship and joint cooperation correspondence, maintaining and analyzing F&B databases, and preparing and filing memos and pre- and post-event profit and loss (P&L) reports for all marketing calendar activities.
• Also, take full responsibility for The Table from Golden Circle and its related activities.
