Job summary

Shangri-La Group in Surabaya seeks an Executive Chef to lead the culinary teams, uphold luxury standards, and deliver memorable dining experiences. You will craft menus, manage suppliers for quality and cost, and ensure food safety and sanitation across the division.

Fluent English, strong leadership, and a passion for creativity are essential, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar luxury hotel role. Local compensation applies in Surabaya.

We are looking for Executive Chef

As an Executive Chef, we rely on you to:

• Be in charge of leading the culinary departments to ensure optimal operations, driving quality standards, whilst ensuring a high level of staff engagement;
• Create and develop creative menus and recipes;
• Build collaborative relations with suppliers to ensure the best price and quality is achieved when purchasing food;
• Maintain the highest food quality and sanitation standards;
• Ensure the ultimate guest experience in the hotel；
• Drive high standards of food preparation in order to increase profitability of the hotel;
• Enforce the implementation of food safety programs throughout the entire division.
