Job summary

PT Chemarome Indonesia is seeking an Export Import (EXIM) Specialist to manage end-to-end import and export processes. You will handle EXIM documentation, coordinate with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and other logistics partners, and monitor shipments from ETD to warehouse delivery.

The role requires minimum 3 years in Export Import or related fields, with knowledge of HS codes, PIB/PEB, and shipping documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in Export Import, Freight Forwarding or Customs Clearance.
• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Management or related field.
• Experience with freight forwarder / PPJK is highly preferred.
• Understanding of Import & Export processes, Customs Clearance, HS Code, PIB/PEB, and Shipping Documentation.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end import and export processes.
• Prepare and ensure completeness of EXIM documents.
• Coordinate with Freight Forwarder, PPJK, Shipping Line, Airline, Transporter, Customs/Bea Cukai, Overseas Supplier and Warehouse.
• Monitor shipments from ETD to warehouse delivery.
• Verify HS Code, Lartas, customs clearance, and applicable import/export regulations.
• Handle shipment issues such as customs hold, document discrepancy, shipment delays, demurrage, detention, and storage.
• Ensure all EXIM processes run on time, comply with regulations, and maintain cost efficiency.
• Create and maintain documentation and reporting of Export Import activities.
• Communicate with overseas suppliers in English.

Export Import (EXIM) Specialist responsible for handling end-to-end import and export processes. The role involves managing EXIM documentation, coordinating with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and other logistics partners, monitoring shipments from ETD to warehouse delivery, and ensuring compliance with import/export regulations while maintaining cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

Handle import and export processes end-to-end

Prepare and ensure completeness of EXIM documents including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/AWB, COO, PIB, PEB, and supporting documents

Coordinate with Freight Forwarder, PPJK, Shipping Line, Airline, Transporter, Customs/Bea Cukai, Overseas Supplier, and Warehouse

Monitor shipments from ETD, ETA, customs clearance until goods are received at warehouse

Verify HS Code, Lartas, customs clearance, and applicable import/export regulations

Handle shipment issues such as customs hold, document discrepancy, shipment delays, demurrage, detention, and storage

Ensure all EXIM processes run on time, comply with regulations, and maintain cost efficiency

Create and maintain documentation and reporting of Export Import activities

About you

Minimum D3/S1 degree from Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Management or related field

Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in Export Import, Freight Forwarding or Customs Clearance

Direct working experience at Freight Forwarder / PPJK company highly preferred

Understanding of Import & Export processes, Customs Clearance, PIB/PEB, HS Code, Lartas, BL/AWB and Shipping Documentation

Experienced in direct coordination with PPJK, Freight Forwarder, Shipping Line, Transporter and Bea Cukai

Able to handle EXIM processes independently with minimum supervision

Good problem-solving ability to handle shipment/customs issues

Detail-oriented, thorough, proactive and able to work with deadlines

Good English language proficiency, especially for email and communication with overseas suppliers

Experience handling chemical, fragrance, raw material, food ingredients, cosmetics, pharmaceutical or regulated products is an added value
