Job summary

PT Berca Carrier Indonesia is seeking an experienced Import Operations Lead based in Jakarta to manage import processes, with a focus on shipments from China and ASEAN. You will handle the application and realization of Import Permits (PI/Persetujuan Impor), read HS codes, classify cargo, and ensure compliant documentation with customs regulations.

Job description

Manage of import processes, particularly handling imports from China and ASEAN countries.

Proficient in the application and realization process of Import Permits (PI/Persetujuan Impor), especially for electronic products.

Ability to read, interpret, and understand HS Codes and import cargo classifications.

Familiar with customs clearance procedures and standard import documentation.

Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with freight forwarders, customs brokers (PPJK), suppliers, and internal teams.

Detail-oriented, fast-paced, and possesses strong problem-solving skills.

Deep understanding of import processes, particularly handling imports from China and ASEAN countries.

Proficient in the application and realization process of Import Permits (PI/Persetujuan Impor), especially for electronic products.

Ability to read, interpret, and understand HS Codes and import cargo classifications.

Job Requirement :

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Order Management, Import, Logistics, or Supply Chain.

Proven track record of successfully managing import operations and leading a team

Strong understanding of customs regulations, procedures and documentation requirements

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Fluent in English, both spoken and written

Proficient in using logistics management software and data analysis tools

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically

Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
