Job summary

Seven Retail is seeking an Expansion and Site Acquisition Associate to identify and secure commercial properties to open new outlets across its growing portfolio. This role sits under the Business Development & Expansion team and requires strong networking and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities include sourcing locations, negotiating terms, coordinating with legal teams, and ensuring smooth handover to construction and launch teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Architecture, Urban Planning, or related fields.
• 1-3+ years of experience in retail site acquisition, business development, real estate expansion, or commercial property brokerage
• Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
• Good English skill

Responsibilities

• Actively source off-market and on-market store locations (shophouses, mall spaces, food court spots, or commercial land) suitable for Seven Retail's various business units.
• Build and maintain strong networks with property owners, real estate agents/brokers, mall management teams, and building developers
• Lead commercial negotiations with landlords, property managers, and building owners to secure rental rates within target budget constraints.
• Negotiate favorable lease terms, including grace periods for store fit-out, rent-free periods, lease duration, renewal options, and payment schedules.
• Coordinate with internal legal teams to review, finalize, and execute land/property rental agreements.
• Ensure smooth transition of secured locations to internal teams for store construction and launch.

About Role

Site Acquisition Associate is responsible for identifying, surveying, negotiating, and securing commercial properties (malls, shophouses/ruko, standalone plots, or pop-up pre-sales locations) to open new outlets across Seven Retail's growing portfolio. This role sits under the Business Development & Expansion team.

Your Day-to-Day

• Actively source off-market and on-market store locations (shophouses, mall spaces, food court spots, or commercial land) suitable for Seven Retail's various business units (F&B, aesthetic/dental clinics, education centers)
• Build and maintain strong networks with property owners, real estate agents/brokers, mall management teams, and building developers
• Lead commercial negotiations with landlords, property managers, and building owners to secure rental rates within target budget constraints.
• Negotiate favorable lease terms, including grace periods for store fit-out, rent-free periods, lease duration, renewal options, and payment schedules.

Who We're Looking For
