Job summary

Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to lead daily kitchen operations, develop menus, and ensure top culinary quality. You will mentor staff, manage budgets, and maintain HACCP standards in a fast-paced resort environment.

The role reports to the Executive Chef and requires strong leadership, creativity, and a guest-focused mindset to deliver memorable dining experiences that reflect the Hotel Indigo brand.

Qualifications

• Strong culinary leadership experience in hotel or similar setting.
• Proven ability to supervise multiple kitchen sections and support the Executive Chef.
• Solid knowledge of menu development, costing, food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily kitchen operations and coordination across sections.
• Develop menus, recipes and presentations; review profitability with the Executive Chef.
• Lead, train and develop kitchen staff; manage rosters and budgets.
• Monitor food safety, HACCP, sanitation and equipment maintenance.
• Support budgeting and cost control to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with F&B, events teams and other departments on guest needs.
