Job summary

PT Transisi Mobile Indonesia in West Jakarta is seeking an experienced Event Specialist to plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events that align with our company’s objectives and enhance our brand presence.

You will own events from conception to completion, manage budgets, liaise with internal teams and external partners, supervise on-site operations, and analyse post‑event results to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate conferences, product launches, promotional activities, and corporate events.
• Manage budgets, source vendors, and negotiate contracts to ensure cost effectiveness.
• Develop timelines, checklists, and contingency plans for smooth execution.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather requirements and report progress.
• Oversee logistics including venue, catering, AV, and transportation.
• Conduct site visits and on-site operations during events.
• Analyse post-event feedback to improve future events.

About the role

PT Transisi Mobile Indonesia is seeking an experienced Event Specialist to join our dynamic team in West Jakarta. This is a full‑time position where you will be instrumental in planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events that align with our company's objectives and enhance our brand presence. As an Event Specialist, you will take ownership of event projects from conception through to completion, ensuring each event is delivered to the highest standards and creates a memorable experience for all attendees.

What you'll be doing

• Planning and coordinating all aspects of events, including conferences, product launches, promotional activities, and corporate gatherings
• Managing event budgets, sourcing vendors, and negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure cost‑effectiveness
• Developing event timelines, checklists, and contingency plans to ensure smooth execution
• Liaising with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate progress
• Overseeing logistics, including venue selection, catering arrangements, audiovisual setup, and transportation
• Conducting site visits and walkthroughs to verify all elements are in place prior to event commencement
• Managing on‑site operations during events, including staff coordination and real‑time problem solving
• Evaluating event success through post‑event analysis and gathering feedback to continuously improve future events

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience working as an Event Specialist, Event Coordinator, or in a similar event management role
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with proficiency in liaising with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and negotiate with vendors
• Creative problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes
• Experience in the trades, services, or related industries is advantageous
• Fluency in Indonesian and English is preferred
