Job summary

PT GIANDHI DUNIA REKREASI is seeking an events leader to develop, plan, and execute innovative family-focused experiences across our entertainment portfolio in Indonesia. You will manage end-to-end events, collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Retail, and build recurring programs that drive engagement and commercial value across Amazone, Playtopia, and related brands.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and at least five years of experience in experiential marketing or family

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Creative Industry, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in event management, creative events, experiential marketing, entertainment, F&B, retail, family entertainment, or related industries.
  • Proven experience in developing creative event concepts from ideation through execution, not only coordinating existing event programs.
  • Strong understanding of family-oriented, children, parenting, lifestyle, retail, and entertainment trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to create recurring event programs and event series, rather than one-off events only.
  • Strong creative thinking with the ability to transform simple ideas into engaging and commercially viable experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative and engaging event concepts for families, children, parents, and the broader community.
  • Create regular, seasonal, thematic, and special events across different units and locations.
  • Design programs beyond marketing activities, including workshops, competitions, and family-oriented activities.
  • Align event concepts across Amazone, Playtopia, Playtopia Sports, Playcafe, and Mom & Baby retail.
  • Build recurring event series to encourage repeat visits and long-term engagement.
  • Connect events with products, services, memberships, F&B, and retail opportunities.
  • Lead end-to-end event processes: concept, planning, budgeting, vendors, production, execution, evaluation.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Retail, F&B, Commercial, and other teams for seamless delivery.
  • Develop event calendars aligned with business objectives, holidays, and cultural occasions.
  • Monitor performance and feedback to improve concepts and execution.
  • Manage external partners, vendors, communities, and talent.
  • Ensure events maintain brand relevance, creativity, feasibility, and value.

Job description

Responsible for developing, planning, and executing innovative, engaging, and sustainable event concepts across the company’s family entertainment ecosystem. This role will create recurring and campaign-based experiences that connect and strengthen our entire business ecosystem, while driving customer engagement, community building, and commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop creative and engaging event concepts that are relevant to families, children, parents, and the broader customer community.

Create regular, seasonal, thematic, and special events that can be implemented across different business units and locations.

Design event programs that go beyond conventional marketing activities, including competitions, workshops, interactive experiences, challenges, community activities, and family-oriented programs.

Develop event concepts that can be adapted and integrated across Amazone, Playtopia, Playtopia Sports, Playcafe, and Mom & Baby retail to create a connected customer experience.

Build event series and recurring programs that encourage repeat visits and long-term customer engagement.

Identify opportunities to connect events with products, services, memberships, food & beverage, retail offerings, and other commercial initiatives across the ecosystem.

Lead the end-to-end event process, from concept development, planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, production, execution, to post-event evaluation.

Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, Retail, F&B, Commercial, and other relevant teams to ensure seamless event execution.

Develop event calendars and program pipelines aligned with business objectives, customer trends, school holidays, seasonal moments, and relevant cultural occasions.

Monitor event performance and customer feedback, and use insights to continuously improve concepts, formats, and execution.

Manage external partners, vendors, communities, talent, and other stakeholders required for event delivery.

Ensure every event maintains strong brand relevance, creativity, operational feasibility, and commercial value.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communication, Creative Industry, Business, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in event management, creative events, experiential marketing, entertainment, F&B, retail, family entertainment, or related industries.

Proven experience in developing creative event concepts from ideation through execution, not only coordinating existing event programs.

Strong understanding of family-oriented, children, parenting, lifestyle, retail, and entertainment trends.

Demonstrated ability to create recurring event programs and event series, rather than one-off events only.

Strong creative thinking with the ability to transform simple ideas into engaging and commercially viable experiences.

Strong project management and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and stakeholders simultaneously.

Commercially minded and able to connect creative event concepts with customer engagement, traffic, sales, and business opportunities.

Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and hands-on environment.

Strong attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture perspective.

Experience working across multiple brands, business units, or locations is a strong advantage.

Portfolio of previous event concepts/programs and executions is highly preferred.
