Job summary

Obayashi-Wijaya Karya-Jaya Konstruksi-JFE Engineering Joint Venture is seeking a Schedule Engineer to lead project scheduling activities. You will develop master and discipline schedules, coordinate with M&E and Civil divisions, subcontractors, and the employer, and prepare progress reports.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil/Mechanical, at least 3 years in schedule control (1+ year on similar projects), knowledge of Microsoft Project, and strong business English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Mechanical or other relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience including at least 1 year in schedule control.
• Familiar with construction work.
• Knowledge of schedule management and Microsoft Project.
• Working experience with foreign companies (Japanese, Korean etc.), ODA projects, and projects using FIDIC contracts is a plus.
• Business English proficiency (writing, verbal).
• Planning: prepare project plans considering objectives and risks.
• Problem solving: identify causes and develop remedial plans.
• Negotiation and persuasion with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop master/discipline schedules with Civil division and sub-contractors.
• Prepare scheduled progress reports (actual/forecast) for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning.
• Monitor project schedules and report delays to Project Controller and PM/DPM; assist in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Attend meetings with Employer, Engineer, JO members and other stakeholders.
• Support IPC and subcontractor IPC processes and other payments.
• Assist Contract Engineer on contract issues.
• Coordinate with M&E division, Civil division, and subcontractors to align schedules.
• Respond to emergency situations with an efficient project control process.
• Foster a successor through on-the-job training during the project period.
• Willing to work at the site office (Pluit, North Jakarta).
