Job summary

PT Jaya Boga Wisesa is building a new bakery manufacturing facility in Sentul, and we're seeking an Engineering Manager to ensure all machines, production lines, and utilities run reliably, safely, and efficiently.

You will lead the engineering function from commissioning through start-up to full-scale operation, reporting directly to the Management, and building a proactive maintenance culture while ensuring GMP, HACCP, and OHS standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in engineering or maintenance in food manufacturing with 3+ years in leadership.
• Hands-on experience with automated bakery equipment and strong GMP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build and run the preventive and corrective maintenance program with CMMS.
• Manage plant utilities: electricity, gas, compressed air, water, refrigeration.
• Monitor OEE, downtime, MTBF, MTTR and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead, train, and develop maintenance and technician teams.
• Ensure GMP, hygienic design, and OHS standards compliance.
• Prepare and control the engineering and maintenance budget.

Job description

PT Jaya Boga Wisesa is building a new bakery manufacturing facility in Sentul, and we're looking for an Engineering Manager to make sure every machine, production line, and utility runs reliably, safely, and efficiently. You'll lead the engineering function from commissioning and start-up through to full-scale operation, reporting directly to the Management.

Key responsibilities

Build and run the preventive and corrective maintenance program, including CMMS implementation and spare parts management

Manage plant utilities: electricity, gas, compressed air, water, and refrigeration systems

Monitor equipment performance (OEE, downtime, MTBF, MTTR) and drive continuous improvement

Lead, train, and develop the maintenance and technician team

Work with Production, PPIC, and QHSE to ensure compliance with GMP, hygienic design, and occupational health and safety standards

Prepare and control the engineering and maintenance budget

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field

At least 8 years of engineering or maintenance experience in food manufacturing, including 3 years in a leadership role

Hands-on experience with automated bakery equipment: mixers, dividers/rounders, sheeters/pastry lines, proofers, ovens (rotary, deck, tunnel), depositors, doughnut fryers, and blast freezers

Strong troubleshooting skills in PLC, gas-fired equipment, refrigeration, and plant utilities

Solid understanding of GMP, FSSC 22000/HACCP, and OHS (K3) standards

Experience commissioning a greenfield factory is a strong advantage
