Job summary

KitaHire Indonesia is seeking a Technical Sales professional in Tangerang, Indonesia. You will develop new and existing bakery and food industry clients, provide technical consultations, and drive the sales process from prospecting to closing.

Ideal candidates have a background in Food Technology or Engineering, at least 3 years in technical or B2B sales, and strong English and Bahasa Indonesia communication skills. Willingness to travel and valid driver’s license are required.

Our client is a food technology company established since 2013, specializing in bakery equipment, food processing machinery, and bakery automation solutions. They offers a wide range of bakery machinery and production solutions, including spiral mixers, industrial ovens, proofing systems, dividers, rounders, depositors, bread production lines, cake production lines, and automated bakery systems.

They are looking for a Technical Sales professional. The role will be responsible for understanding customers' production requirements, providing technical consultation, recommending suitable machinery and solutions, and managing the sales process from prospecting to closing.

Job Description:

Achieve sales targets by developing new and existing B2B customers in the bakery and food industry.

Conduct customer visits, understand production needs, and provide suitable technical solutions for bakery machinery and equipment.

Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical consultations.

Prepare quotations, negotiate with customers, and manage the sales process from prospecting to closing.

Coordinate with technical, engineering, and service teams for machine trials, installation, commissioning, and after-sales support.

Monitor market trends, competitors, and business opportunities.

Maintain customer relationships, sales pipeline, and regular sales reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Technical Sales, Sales Engineering, Application, or B2B Sales.

Experience in bakery equipment, food processing machinery, bakery ingredients, or related industries is preferred.

Good understanding of bakery production processes and technical solutions.

Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Willing to travel for customer visits.

Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Possess a valid driver's license.
