Job summary

PT Gandum Mas Kencana in Tangerang is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to oversee daily engineering, maintenance, and utility operations within our bakery ingredients facility. The role focuses on maintaining production continuity and ensuring equipment reliability.

You will drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, manage projects, and ensure GMP and food safety standards are met, with collaboration across Production, Quality, and other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge and experience of GMP, HACCP, and FSSC 22000.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering supervision experience.
• Fluent in English and Indonesian.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD 2D/3D, and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily engineering, maintenance, and utility operations to ensure smooth production.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for all machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PLC, SCADA, HVAC, and other critical utility systems.
• Lead equipment installation, modification, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve machine efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize operational costs.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and other regulatory and food safety standards.
• Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water, steam, compressed air) and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and other departments to support operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Prepare engineering budgets, maintenance schedules, technical reports, and performance analyses.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
• Lead, coach, and develop engineering technicians and maintenance team members.
• Ensure workplace safety, environmental compliance, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Support audits, inspections, and certification processes related to engineering, safety, and quality systems.

Ensure optimal performance and reliability of production equipment, utilities, and plant infrastructure.

Job Requirement :

Bachelor degree in major Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc.

Has good knowledge & experience of GMP, HACCP & FSSC 22000

At least 10 Years of working experience in the related field as Engineering Supervisor

Fluently English & Indonesian

Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCad 2D 3D, solid work

Willing to work with shifts (3 Shifts, 4 Group)
