Job summary

PT Jaya Boga Wisesa is seeking a Production Manager to lead all production activities at the Sentul factory, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing to plan and cost targets.

The role requires strong leadership, KPI management, and experience in food manufacturing, including scale-up and line commissioning. Based at Factory Sentul, with shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing production, with at least 2 years as a Production Manager or similar role.
• Experience in bakery, pastry, or RTE/frozen food production is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Halal, and food safety systems; familiarity with ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000 is a plus.
• Proven track record of managing production KPIs, cost control, and large production teams.
• Experience in new factory setup, line commissioning, or production scale-up is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or other continuous improvement methods.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willing to be based at Factory Sentul and work in shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet production plans for volume, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Support factory commissioning, including line setup, trial runs, and production ramp-up, together with Engineering, R&D, and QHSE.
• Translate standard recipes and product specifications from R&D into production SOPs and work instructions, and make sure they are followed consistently.
• Manage manpower planning, shift scheduling, and productivity across production lines.
• Monitor and improve production KPIs such as output, yield, OEE, waste/reject rate, labor efficiency, and production cost.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, Halal, and occupational health and safety (K3) standards, and support internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with PPIC on production schedules and material availability, and with Engineering on preventive maintenance and downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, 5S, Kaizen) to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate production supervisors and operators.
