About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Engineering / Maintenance Staff member to join our team in Kuta, Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our facilities. You will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of various building systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role is essential to our operations and offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment where your technical expertise will directly impact our business success.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs, ensuring minimal downtime
• Conduct preventative maintenance schedules to identify and address potential issues before they escalated
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work completed, including parts used and time spent
• Operate and troubleshoot various tools, equipment, and machinery in accordance with safety protocols
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities
• Report on equipment condition and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance work areas and storage facilities

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in engineering maintenance, facility management, or a related technical field
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Physical fitness and ability to work in various environmental conditions
• Valid relevant certifications or qualifications in engineering or maintenance (preferred)
• Fluency in Indonesian and English is advantageous
• Willingness to undertake on-call duties and emergency repairs when required
