Job summary

PT Langgeng Dunia Selaras is seeking an experienced Head Maintenance based in South Jakarta to oversee maintenance operations across hospitality facilities on a contract basis. You will lead a maintenance team, plan preventive programmes, manage budgets and ensure safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate brings 2–5+ years in maintenance management within hospitality, strong HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, and proven leadership. Indonesian and English fluency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams and recruiting/training.
• Fluency in Indonesian and English desirable.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head Maintenance to join PT Langgeng Dunia Selaras on a contract basis. This is a pivotal leadership position based in South Jakarta, Jakarta, responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations and infrastructure management across our hospitality facilities. As Head Maintenance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our properties remain in exceptional condition, supporting our commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences. This role requires strategic oversight of maintenance teams, preventative maintenance programmes, and facility management to maintain the highest operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all maintenance and repair operations across building facilities to ensure optimal functionality and guest satisfaction
• Manage and supervise the maintenance team, including recruitment, training, scheduling and performance evaluation
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes to minimise equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Conduct regular facility inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external contractors for specialised maintenance tasks
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and ensure rapid resolution of critical issues
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation and asset inventories
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with local regulations, building codes and industry standards
• Report to senior management on maintenance operations, facility conditions and recommended improvements

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within the hospitality, hotel or F&B
• Proven leadership experience managing maintenance teams of varying sizes
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, equipment maintenance and general building infrastructure
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and record-keeping systems
• Excellent budget management and cost control capabilities
• Outstanding organisational and project management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with staff, guests and external contractors
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing maintenance issues
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental compliance requirements in hospitality settings
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Building Services Engineering, Facility Management or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Fluency in Indonesian and English is highly desirable
