Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional experience in employee relations or human resources.
• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian labour law and collective bargaining frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage employee relations policies and programmes that promote a positive workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
• Handle employee grievances, disputes and disciplinary matters in a fair, impartial and legally compliant manner.
• Serve as a liaison between employees and management to address workplace concerns and facilitate open communication channels.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian labour laws, regulations and collective bargaining agreements.
• Support collective bargaining negotiations and maintain positive relationships with unions and employee representatives.
• Develop and deliver training programmes on employment policies, workplace conduct and industrial relations best practices.
• Document and maintain records of employee relations cases, grievances and resolutions.
• Conduct workplace investigations into allegations of misconduct or policy violations.
• Collaborate with HR teams to design and implement employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Monitor workplace relations trends and provide recommendations to senior management on employee relations matters.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Employee & Industrial Relations professional to join PT Brighty Global Sinergi on a contract basis. This role is based in Bekasi, West Java and is fundamental to maintaining positive employer-employee relations and ensuring compliance with industrial relations regulations. As an Employee & Industrial Relations specialist, you will serve as a key bridge between management and employees, fostering a culture of trust, transparency and mutual respect. This position plays a strategic role in resolving workplace challenges, implementing employee engagement initiatives and ensuring adherence to labour laws and best practices in industrial relations.

What we're looking for

• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian labour law, employment regulations and collective bargaining frameworks
• Strong understanding of industrial relations principles and best practices for conflict resolution
• Proven ability to handle sensitive employee relations matters with discretion, professionalism and impartiality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels
• Proficiency in conflict resolution, mediation and negotiation techniques
• Experience in organizing employee engagement activities, events, or wellbeing initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex workplace issues
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with HR and management teams
• Proficiency with HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
