About the role
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations professional to join our Human Resources team at Persada Medika Dharma in Bekasi, West Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in building and maintaining positive relationships between the organisation and our employees. As Employee Relations specialist, you will serve as a trusted advocate for both the company and our workforce, ensuring a harmonious and productive workplace. This role is essential to our mission of creating a supportive organisational culture where employees feel valued, heard, and engaged.
Key responsibilities
Developing and implementing employee relations policies, procedures, and programmes that promote a positive workplace culture
Serving as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and disputes, providing guidance and support throughout the resolution process
Facilitating open communication between management and employees through town halls, forums, and feedback mechanisms
Conducting investigations into workplace issues, including disciplinary matters and misconduct allegations, whilst maintaining confidentiality and fairness
Supporting managers with employee performance management, coaching, and development initiatives
Organising and coordinating employee engagement activities, recognition programmes, and team-building events
Monitoring workplace compliance with employment legislation, labour regulations, and organisational policies
Maintaining detailed employee relations records and documentation for legal and compliance purposes
Developing training programmes for managers on employee relations best practices and conflict resolution
Contributing to retention strategies and analysing employee satisfaction data to identify areas for improvement
What we're looking for
Proven experience in an employee relations or human resources role, ideally within a healthcare, manufacturing, or large corporate environment
Strong knowledge of Indonesian employment law, labour regulations, and industrial relations practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
Demonstrated experience in handling employee grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution
Proficiency in HR systems and databases, with strong data management capabilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and handle sensitive matters professionally
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
Excellent organisational and project management abilities
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent Indonesian HR certifications would be advantageous
Fluency in Indonesian and English (both written and spoken) is essential
