Job summary

TRIPATRA is seeking an experienced QUALITY CONTROL – ELECTRICAL professional for area project work located at AREA PROJECT PHR JPK. The role requires extensive knowledge of electrical systems and strict QA oversight on critical installations.

Responsibilities include inspecting electrical works to ensure compliance with project specs, standards (IEC/IEEE/NEC/NFPA), and safety. Strong reporting and coordination with contractors are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or D4 in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years in engineering/quality control.
• Diploma D3 with 8+ years in engineering, fabrication, construction, or QC services.
• 4+ years in Electrical Quality Control Inspection on relevant projects.
• Knowledge of 120V to 13.8kV electrical systems and components.
• Experience inspecting transformers, MCCs, busbars, switchgear, cables, and grounding.
• Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA standards and project-specific rules.
• Recent (within 5 years) training/certifications in electrical installation/testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and monitor electrical system installations for compliance.
• Inspect 120V–13.8kV installations and related equipment (transformers, MCC, switchgear, cables).
• Witness and validate electrical testing, pre-commissioning, and inspections.
• Coordinate with Company reps and Contractors to support QA during construction.
• Prepare and maintain routine inspection reports and test records.
• Ensure contractors follow SOPs and project specs for electrical work.
• Identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and track closures.
