SeaOwl Group in Batam seeks a Project Engineer (Electrical, Instrument & Automation) to coordinate mechanical, package and piping activities within project teams. You will lead material requisitions, technische bid evaluations, and coordinate with process, piping, instrument, automation, electrical, procurement, QA/QC teams and vendors to ensure project deliverables meet client requirements.

The role requires a degree in Instrument and Electrical engineering with at least 5 years in Oil & Gas,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrument and Electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC projects.
• Experience in vendor management and technical bid evaluations.
• Familiar with inspection and testing requirements.

Responsabilités

• Lead preparation and review of Material Requisitions / Technical Requirements for purchase requisition.
• Perform Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, piping, instrument, automation, electrical, procurement, QA/QC) and vendors.
• Follow QA/QC Manual procedures.
• Support fabrication, inspection, and testing activities (FAT, SAT, inspections).
• Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Prepare and coordinate change notices (NOC) to fabricator via Engineering Manager.
• Maintain proper documentation and data management throughout project lifecycle.

As a Project Engineer (Electrical, Instrument & Automation), you will contribute to the coordination and delivery of mechanical, package and piping engineering activities within project teams.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Lead the preparation and review of Material Requisitions / Technical Requirement for purchase requisition.
• Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE)
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, piping, instrument, automation, electrical, procurement, QA/QC) and vendors.
• Follow company procedures as defined in the QA/QC Manual
• Support fabrication, inspection, and testing activities (FAT, SAT, inspections)
• Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning phases
• Prepare and/or coordinate any work procedures that are deemed necessary for manufacturing, handling, assembling, or lifting of the equipment according to client requirement.
• Review and resolve technical queries (TQs), NCRs, and deviations at any stage of the project.
• Ensure proper documentation and data management throughout the project lifecycle, including installation, commissioning, start-up, operation and maintenance documentation.
• Prepare notice at change (NOC) to fabricator via Engineering Manager.
• Execute any work related to skills and experience for the Project.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree in Instrument Engineering and Electrical engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC projects
• Experience in vendor management and technical bid evaluations
• Familiar with inspection and testing requirements
• Good coordination and communication skills
