Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Analyst - Environmental Health and Safety to outline and implement training on work safety, environmental safety, and accident prevention regulations. You will develop materials, track accidents, and perform inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in occupational health and safety required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in environmental, health and safety.
• Minimum of 1 year' experience in the mining/electrical/manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections to ensure compliance with EHS standards.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Develop, implement, and enforce EHS programs and protocols.
• Investigate and analyze information to draw conclusions.
• React calmly in emergency situations.
• Train workplace safety officers as needed.
• Stay current on government and industry safety regulations.
