Job summary

Wesco seeks an Analyst - Environmental Health and Safety to outline and implement training programs educating the workforce on work and environmental safety, and accident prevention regulations. You will track accidents, perform inspections, and ensure compliance with safety regulations across facilities and processes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in occupational health and safety or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in environmental, health and safety.
• Minimum of 1 years' experience in the mining/electrical/manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections to ensure EHS standards compliance.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Develop, implement, and enforce EHS programs and protocols.
• Know federal, provincial, state and local safety regulations and procedures.
• React calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions.
