Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Analyst - Environmental Health and Safety to outline and implement training, develop educational materials, and track accidents for prevention. The role involves inspections, audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance across facilities and processes.

The position requires at least an Associate degree in EHS and 2+ years in the field, with preference for candidates from mining, electrical, or manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in occupational health and safety or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in environmental, health and safety.
• Minimum of 1 year in mining/electrical/manufacturing industries.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections to ensure compliance with EHS standards.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Develop, implement, and enforce EHS programs and protocols.
• Investigate and analyze information to draw conclusions.
• React calmly in emergency situations.
