Zusammenfassung

MatchaTalent is assisting in recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager – East Java to lead regional sales strategy, distributor development, and commercial execution across East Java. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth, expand distribution, and strengthen relationships with key distributors and trade partners.

The role requires hands-on leadership of Area Sales Managers and distributor sales teams, with a strong background in FMCG, GT, traditional distribution, and regional market

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or a related field.
8+ years of progressive sales experience in FMCG (Food & Beverage, frozen/chilled products) or other perishable goods.
Proven experience in Regional Sales Manager or equivalent leadership role.
Strong track record managing regional sales teams and distributor networks.
Experience in market expansion, new territory development, and retail coverage expansion.
Strong GT and traditional distribution management experience.
Fluent Bahasa Indonesia; Mandarin Chinese proficiency mandatory for HQ communications.
Willingness to travel extensively across East Java and surrounding areas.

Aufgaben

Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, volume, distribution, and market share targets across East Java.
Lead Area Sales Managers, Sales Executives, and distributor teams to build a high-performing regional organization.
Establish and strengthen relationships with distributors, sub-distributors, wholesalers, and strategic trade partners.
Monitor distributor performance against sales targets, KPIs, and inventory turnover.
Lead negotiations on pricing, trade terms, promotions, and business development opportunities.
Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and senior management to ensure effective plan execution.
Set clear sales KPIs, call plans, field execution standards, and performance monitoring.
Conduct regular market visits, analyze competitor activity and market trends, and identify opportunities.
Prepare regional forecasts, budgets, and business plans for leadership review.
Identify underperforming territories and implement corrective action plans.
