Job summary

John Crane, part of Smiths Group, is seeking a Sales Manager East Indonesia based in Balikpapan to drive growth, expand market presence, and secure new business opportunities across key accounts. You will lead territorial plans, manage strategic accounts, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with engineering and service teams to ensure on-time project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Experience in people management.
• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Sound knowledge of rotating and process equipment, including mechanical seals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory growth plans to achieve sales targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across East Indonesia.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, distributors, EPCs, and end users.
• Lead commercial negotiations and support contract execution.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and CRM updates.
