Job summary

The Apurva Kempinski Bali is seeking a Duty Engineer (AV Specialist) in Bali to oversee AV systems maintenance and guest-focused technical support. The role requires ensuring defect-free, high-quality AV setups and adherence to safety standards in a luxury hotel setting.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will manage preventive maintenance, coordinate with events and hotel departments, and maintain equipment per Kempinski standards to deliver optimal guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Indonesian citizen with 2–3 years of AV-related experience.
• Strong knowledge of AV systems, setup, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of safety procedures and preventive maintenance.
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Attend AV support requests promptly and resolve them effectively.
• Maintain hotel AV systems and equipment to Kempinski standards.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and document completion.
• Communicate with guests and staff politely and clearly.
• Follow safety, electrical handling and emergency procedures.
• Build positive relations within Engineering, Events and other departments.
