SeaOwl Group is seeking an experienced Document Controller to manage Engineering documents, transmittals, archives, and the Vendor Document Register across EPC projects. You will ensure traceability and accurate record-keeping for all exchanges with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields, 5+ years in document control, fluent English, and strong organizational skills to coordinate across multiple teams and locations under tight
Manage and control Engineering Documents, including documents listed in the TDR and documents received from Client, as well as Vendor Documents and Vendor Document Register (VDRL). Prepare, control, register, and maintain incoming/outgoing transmittals, document archives, and document exchange records, ensuring complete traceability. Coordinate document distribution to the correct internal and external parties in accordance with the project distribution matrix and instructions. Maintain accurate electronic filing, document status, revision control, document numbering, and archiving of technical documents and drawings. Ensure all document exchanges are properly recorded and traceable between SeaOwl and project stakeholders and vendors. Provide weekly VDRL monitoring reports accurately showing document status, including overdue documents, pending submissions/reviews, documents not yet submitted, and other outstanding issues requiring follow-up from/to Vendors.

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in Document Control within the Oil & Gas / EPC sector
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Energetic, fast learner, adaptable, and a strong team player
Able to multitask effectively and work in a fast-paced project environment with tight deadlines
Strong organizational and time management skills
Able to coordinate effectively across multiple teams and locations
Excellent attention to detail, particularly in document numbering, revision control, document status, transmittals, and filing/archiving of technical documents and drawings
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Familiar with AI platforms/tools and able to use them appropriately to improve work efficiency and support document-control reporting
