Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Experience in hotel or restaurant environments.
• Good knowledge of cuisines, cooking techniques and presentation.
• Ability to guide junior kitchen staff.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, hygiene and sanitation.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and assist culinary production for their sections.
• Ensure production aligns with menu and hotel standards.
• Coordinate and ensure smooth operation in their sections.
• Train and participate in training to maintain a positive environment.
• Store, prepare and secure food hygienically to minimize waste.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness across kitchen areas.
• Check mise en place and ensure procedures are followed.
• Report engineering defects to supervisors.
• Ensure staff report on time and grooming standards are met.
• Plan and control par stock levels in their section.
• Enforce hotel procedures, rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
